Hyundai's much anticipated Grand i10 2014,2015, 2016 and 2017 based sedan- Xcent made its global debut in February, followed by its launch a month later. The sedan looks identical to the Grand i10 hatchback, but new styling design and rich interior mark distinction to its portfolio. Loaded with various first-in-segment features, the new Hyundai Xcent is a good value for money product.
Powering the Xcent is a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and a 2nd-gen 1.1-litre diesel engine that produce a maximum power of 82bhp and 71bhp respectively. Both the engines are coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a 4-speed automatic gearbox is also available on petrol trim. It’s one of the most fuel efficient Hyundai cars in India. The diesel trim offers a maximum mileage of 24.4kmpl, while the petrol version returns a fuel economy of 18.9kmpl.
The car comes with three combination for the Steel Rims with 165/65R14 tyres in the lower end models. Alloy Wheels with 165/65R14 tyres are available with the mid range models and Alloy Wheels with the widest 175/60R15 tyres are available with the top end models. We highly recommend 175+ tyres for the comfort for the xcent.
